Publishing
Write once in the composer, tailor each network, then publish now, at a set time or in the queue.
The composer
Open it from New post in the sidebar, by clicking a day or hour in the calendar, or with Edit on an existing post.
- Channels: click avatars to choose where the post goes, or pick a channel group to select its channels in one go.
- Text: the character counter checks against the strictest network you've selected.
- Media: drag files in or upload JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, MP4, MOV or PDF. Images can be up to 10 MB and other files up to 100 MB. You can also add files from the media library.
- Extras: emoji, hashtags and hashtag groups, and your workspace signature (the default one is added to new posts).
- Link preview: when a post has a link and no media, a preview card is attached. Dismiss it, or swap it for the link's image.
- Templates: start a post from a template, or save the current one as a template.
- Preview: shows the post as each selected network will display it.
Customize per network
Select Customize to give any channel its own text and media. Each version has its own character count and AI tools, and Use the main post's text and media resets it.
- Post type: Instagram Post or Story, TikTok Video or Photo carousel, Google Business Update, Event or Offer.
- Network settings: YouTube title, category, visibility and license; Pinterest board; Reddit subreddit and title; Discord or Slack channel; and others. The full list is in Channels.
- First comment: on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X, a comment posted right after the post. If it fails, the post stays live.
Choosing when

Save draft keeps the post without a time. Tick Create another to keep the composer open for the next post.
Short links
Owners and admins choose how links are handled in Content Library → Links: Ask each time, Always shorten or Never shorten. Short links count clicks, and drafts keep links exactly as written.
Statuses and retries

| Draft | Saved without a time. |
| Scheduled | Waiting for its time or queue slot. |
| Publishing | Being sent to the networks right now. |
| Published | Live on every selected channel. |
| Partially published | Live on some channels and failed on others. |
| Failed | Didn't go out on any channel. |
- Temporary errors are retried up to 3 times, with growing gaps starting at one minute.
- An expired connection is refreshed once automatically. If that fails, the channel is marked Reconnect needed.
- Nothing publishes while the workspace's payment is due or the workspace is restricted.
Managing a post
Click a post in Schedules to open its details.

| Duplicate | Creates a draft copy with the same channels, text, media, settings and tags. |
| Retry failed | Sends the failed channels again right away. Reconnect any flagged channel first. |
| Unschedule | Moves scheduled channels back to draft. Anything already live stays up. |
| Delete | Removes the post from Postreo. Posts already published stay on the networks. |
Team comments on each post are internal notes for your team. Viewers can add them too.
