Workspaces, team and roles

Invite people to a workspace and decide what each of them can do.

Workspaces

Everything in the dashboard belongs to the current workspace. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar to switch workspaces, see your role in each, or create another one.

Workspace details (name, logo, description) and the Allow AI features switch live in Account settings → Organization. When AI features are off, nothing from the workspace is sent to AI providers.

Roles

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything, including deleting the workspace, transferring ownership and inviting or promoting admins.
AdminEverything except deleting the workspace or transferring ownership. Manages channels, channel groups, feeds, billing, API keys, webhooks and editors and viewers.
EditorCreates and schedules content. Can edit, reschedule, cancel, retry or delete only the posts they wrote, and duplicate any post.
ViewerRead-only. Can browse the schedule and leave team comments on posts.

Inviting people

  1. Open team settings

Go to Account settings → Teams and choose Invite people.

  2. Add emails and a role

Enter one or more addresses and pick Admin, Editor or Viewer. Only the owner can invite admins.

  3. They accept

The invitation link works for 7 days and must be accepted with the invited email address. Resend it to restart the 7 days, or revoke it.

Each plan has a member limit, and the owner counts toward it. An invitation can't be accepted while the workspace has no free seats.

Teams, ownership and leaving

  • Teams are named groups of members, handy for larger workspaces.
  • Transfer ownership hands the workspace to another member; you become an admin.
  • Leave workspace is open to everyone except the owner.
  • Delete workspace (owner only, type the name to confirm) cancels the subscription and unschedules every post.
